By removing single-use plastic amenities such as toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps from our guest rooms, we are significantly reducing our environmental footprint. Instead, guests can request dry amenities by visiting our friendly team at reception.
As part of our ongoing efforts, we have made the proactive decision to move to large format amenities, replacing our single-use plastic common amenities with eco-friendly pump dispensers throughout the hotel. By eliminating single-use plastic bottles, we are significantly reducing the amount of waste generated by our operations. At Mantra Hervey Bay, all hotel waste is separated into co-mingle, cardboard, food waste and general waste, minimising our impact on landfill. In addition, we have taken several steps to further reduce water and embrace a circular system.

Mantra Hervey Bay acknowledges the traditional custodians of which we work and live, the Butchulla people, and extend that to respect to their Elders past and present.
At Mantra Hervey Bay, we strive to accommodate the diverse needs of all our guests, including those with mobility challenges with one dedicated accessible hotel room. Some of our standard apartments feature walk in showers to also support those with mobility issues.
We understand that external access is crucial for guests requiring mobility assistance, and we are happy to arrange for external ramps to be provided upon request. These ramps ensure smooth and safe entry and exit from the apartments, allowing guests to enjoy their stay with peace of mind.
Additionally, our friendly staff are available to assist with any specific accessibility needs or requests to ensure that every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay with us.
